Longaberger 1983 Doll Cradle Basket with Handles

Just what you've been looking for--one of the Early treasures from Longaberger.  This 1983 Longaberger Doll Cradle is for the true Longaberger Collector.  The doll cradles were made from 1979 until 1986 and originally sold for $29, but over time they have become a rare find, especially in this condition.

Now let's talk a bit about the condition of the basket.  There are no broken or chipped weaves, but there are some splits around the nail heads, and other things such as some nail tarnishing that you would expect for a basket of this age. And for being over 20 years old, it is in remarkable condition with only a few scuffed weaves and a very small nick on the tip of one rocker. 

Penciled on the bottom of the basket are the weaver's initials, MAB, and the year 1983.
